Studio fiction film (13 min) about the feeling of guilt that someone may face with a situation where there is no one to blame.
SYNOPSIS
Ricardo visits Alice for the first time since the accident 6 months ago, which killed Miguel, his childhood friend, and Alice's son. The fact that he doesn’t know on what terms he is with Alice disturbs him, mainly because, even though he isn’t, Ricardo feels guilty about his friend's death. He tries to talk to Alice in search for a sort of trial: guilty or not guilty. It is with a tone of strangeness that Alice receives Ricardo. She gives him the colder sholder, unable to provide Ricardo any kind of comfort.
While Alice desperately wants to move forward, Ricardo seems to want to go back. A confrontation arises between the two when he notices the double bass at Alice's house, the instrument that his best friend Miguel played. Alice wants to get rid of the bass, Ricardo wants to keep it. The double bass sings as the action unfolds, symbolizing, in a certain way, Miguel's “presence”.
